Sometimes, there are recipe that can perk you up. This one recipe did that yesterday because I was out with a really bad headache.I did perk me right up.Mostly, it should be one of those recipes that can do the trick every time.
The recipe that I am about tell is one that I had for the first time. I thought it would be worth sharing. I have had my share of chicken recipes over the years. This chicken did the trick and was feeling better and bit happier. It is Chicken Marsala that perks you. Let's get started witht the ingredients and directions.
Ingredients
4 skinless
boneless chicken breast halves
4 Tbsp olive
oil
1 Cup
sliced mushrooms
½ cup
Marsla wine
¼ cup
cooking sherry
¼ cup
almond flour
½ tsp
celtic salt
1 tsp
thyme leaves
½ tsp
dried oregano
Directions
In a
bowl, mix together the almond flour, salt, pepper and oregano.
Coat
chicken pieces in almond flour mixture.
Take a
large frying pan and add olive oil over medium heat
Put in
the chicken and lightly brown
Turn over
the chicken and throw in some mushrooms
Pour wine
and sherry and cover the frying pan
Simmer
chicken 10 min and turn over.
Cook for
roughly another 5 min because you want to get rid of the pinkness.
This recipe is one those Paleo recipe that got me up and running quickly. It came of the stove and was ready to try when I friend invited me over to try it yesterday. She is big a Paleo enthusiast.
