Grand Prix style Racing with Go-Karts

Ever wanted to race down the race track with your adrenalin flowing at warp speed? Do you feel the need for speed? Well, we got a taste of it over the weekend. One of the most interesting experiences that anyone can have is to race a go-kart on track that would make formula one race car drivers salivate. This track and cars are high power. They would make the ordinary go-kart track and go-kart look pathetic. Lastly, this track is heart pounding and is pure adrenalin. 

The track is longer than any track I have seen. It is about the standard formula one racing track. It is about 20 football fields long. Each turn is hair turning and can keep you on the edge of your seat. This track make you feel like heart is pound and racing at the same time. It is not your average type of go-kart track. It is a racer race track on the same level as formula Le Mons and Grand Prix type racing. The turns are sharp to certain degree. I thought ok and decided to take a crack at the driving on this track. I and a couple of people decided to try our hand it this racer’ race track. Most of, a person who drives this track is in for adventure like no other.

 

 

Each go-kart is not ordinary. Because looks can be deceiving. Under the shell of the go-kart is powerful horse power driven engine that would make the ordinary lawnmower engine to shame. This engine is more powerful and can the racing a long formula one type track. It puts out all power and lets you know that you are in for one race. It is made for racing. At first, you think this regular go-kart. But, it is pure racing machine. There is enough give swift adrenalin rush that makes you want to drive fast.

 

We were fortunate enough to give a go at the track called Big Kart Track at the Sunshine Coast in Australia. This track would be something you can bring the whole family to. The karts are the most appealing part of the race. It is knowing that you are driving with something that is way more powerful than the standard go-karts in the US. The track would put the ordinary go-kart tracks in the US to shame. The one thing that is key to racing successfully on the track is wearing helmet. We did wear helmet while racing. The helmets were comfortable and were not tight fitting. We didn’t have an obstructed view of the track and were able to see the track and stay focus.

The race track has a nice restaurant that is equivalent of a fine dining environment. There is something there for everyone at the restaurant at the track. The name of the restaurant is the Pit Stop Café. When it comes down the racing size does matter. It was a winner take all. Although I came in second, I was not dishearten.  The one thing about racing here that you can’t walk away feeling bored. This track was one of the things that I had heard about for a while. I decided to check it out for myself.

The race track will organize personalize race and you get a trophy that is personalize if you come in at first, second or third. This track and racing is fast paced. You can feeling during down the track. I know a few times and was trying to focus my mind on the race and not other things. This track is very family friendly. If you feel like you want to let your kids blow off steam that you can while they have a race track designed for them and allowing you to relax while they race.  There is a comfortable viewing area where you can see them. Helmets provided.
Enclosed footwear to be worn at all times.
The Driver must be 152cm tall and a minimum of 12 years of age to drive.

The great thing is I would do this again because I am pure adrenalin junk and do feel the need for speed. Yes, I would recommend to anyone that loves to race. If you have the competitive streak, this is definitely up your alley. Come on down and give a try. Because there is something for everyone here.
