One of the most important things to do as traders, investors and anyone for that matter is relax and allow our minds to free ourselves from the daily grind. Part of taking the adventure is being able to let go and allow ourselves that serenity and peace. This is one of the reasons of why I like to explore and do adventure travel. It is to allow myself the freedom to break away and rejuvenate myself.

Trading can be stressful at times. It pays to take a break to get away from those stresses can creep up when least expected. One of the journeys, I took a couple of years ago was to the Hinterlands of Queensland. For anyone that has never been, you are in for a treat. It has the lushest and greenest scenery around. It is filled with life and vigor to bring out the adventurer in anyone.

Katandra Reserve
I did the camp at Katandra Reserve and didn't get lost. I had a guide with me,so   I took the usually items. I took a hat to keep the sun of out face and eyes. I wrote comfortable boots and  had mosquito net nearby.

I was able to find clean and clear water that had not been polluted or treated with anything. I did fill up my cantine  a lot. I didn't get sick camping out. It surprised a lot of people. I  saw about 1 to 2 crocodiles, but they were small and were not a threat.  I didn't bother with them. they proceed to go about their own business.

I ran across falls such as these below.

It was so beautiful and very green. It made you feel like you never wanted to leave. It was like living another world. It was a world not filled with stress and anxiety. I was at total peace. I did a hunt a couple rabbits for dinner and was apart of my experience. I ate by campfire.

I didn't feel alone or even cold. I felt at peace. I mean a real oneness with the land around me. I saw many koalas. I got some great shots on film of them with my digital 35 mm SLR.

It was nice to see them in action and left them undistributed.  Now, I would do it again just to get away from the normal mundane things that come with every day living. I did not feel scared one bit and felt at peace. It made you feel that all was right with the world.

I took this adventure and remember it well. I didn't get sick and nor was overheated. I took during the summer months of December and January in Australia. I knew how to take care of the littlest medical emergencies. I didn't need to be bubble wrapped and feel incredibly free. Best of all, I felt well rested to handle my life.
