Healthy Food Recipe For FX Trading For 12 December 2013

Now, then we all need to add a little fish to the diet, so later in the life we don’t come up with health problems down the track. It is important we do get plenty of fish. Fish is a great source protein. As fellow traders, investors, and anyone for that matter, we find those recipes that bring us to the top of our game in life. Well, I found great recipe that Paleo got me to try. It is great and tastes great as well.

I said that I would bring out recipes from Paleo. This one lives up to its name for being healthy. The great folks at Paleo were very kind to me  and allow me to show this wonderful tasty fish recipe that I would like to share with you. I had to make it last night. It was good to the last bite. Don’t forget to check the Paleo Recipe and see for yourself what great recipes that they offer. Anyway, let’s get back to the recipe and tell how to make it. It smells great coming out of the oven. It reminds me of the fish we had on a trip to New Orleans for Mardi Gra. One summer, my brother caught one and was a giant whopper of fish. That we seared and grilled it really well. That neighbors from all around wanted what we had. This great recipe is called Flaky Sriracha Cod over Parsnip Carrot Mash.  We threw a party of what we caught. Let’s get started on this wonderful dish of tastiness.

Ingredients

   2 parsnips, peeled

   2 large carrots, peeled

   2 tablespoons olive oil

   2/3 cup avocado oil

   1 egg

   1 teaspoon lemon juice

   1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

   1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

3 tablespoons Paleo Chef Sriracha for a bit more spice to it.

   1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

   1/4 teaspoon chili powder

   Salt, to taste

   1/3 cup sliced almonds

1 pound cod, cut into 4 pieces

   1/4 cup vegetable broth

   Chopped green onions, to garnish

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Peel parsnips and carrots.

With the parsnips, cut around the core, they can be a bit tough. But, it is ok.

Cut carrots and parsnips.

Toss in the olive oil to coat.

Sprinkle with a lit bit of salt and place into the oven.

Bake for 20-25 minutes until vegetables are soft.

While vegetables cook, in a tall container add the avocado oil, egg, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and some salt and pepper.

Place a hand blender to the bottom of the container, turn on and wait until the mixture thickens a bit.

You might have to raise the hand blender a bit to help mix all of the oil.

Once mayonnaise has thickened, fold in Sriracha, red pepper flakes, and chili powder.

Fold in 1/4 cup of sliced almonds, leaving behind some to top of the fish later on.

Put parchment paper on a baking pan.

Place the cod on the small baking pan.

Spread on the Sriracha mayonnaise onto each piece of cod.

Sprinkle with the rest of the sliced almonds.

Remove the vegetables from the oven.

Turn down the oven heat to 350 degrees F.

Put the fish in the oven.

Bake for about 10-15 minutes or until the fish looks flaky.

Place carrots and parsnips in food processor or blender and puree, scraping down the sides as needed.

Combine vegetable broth along with salt and pepper.

Puree until as smooth as possible.

Place flaky fish over parsnip carrot puree.

Top with green onions.

This dish is one that you can make for dinner. In Texas and the rest of the southern US, dinner is called supper. Anyhow, It is one that you can’t pass up and can very much share with friend and family.  It will win them over big time. They will beg for it. They might even sneak your office to find the recipe because it is so good. They will beg you to tell them what is in it. But, you have to swear them to secretly. But, just tell them about this Paleo recipe that will get in the book of a 1000 recipes. This way there is not a secret except in the way it tastes. Here is the download link to the recipe below:
